Would you enjoy a volunteer position that helps Missoula County citizens live healthier and longer? The City Council is seeking applications for volunteers who lives in Missoula County to serve on the City/County Health Board. The following position is open:

The Health Board's mission is to establish policies and advocate for conditions that support healthy people, environments and community. The board establishes the goals objectives and programs for the delivery of public health services to city and county residents. The Board has statutory authority and responsibility including rule-making, adjudication and budgeting authority. They are responsible for selecting the Health Officer who carries out statutory duties and directs the City/County Health Department. Members of the Health Board also serve as the Air Pollution Control Board and the Water Quality District Board. The board meets the third Thursday of each month.
The term for this position begins January 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2022.
