The Missoula Neighborhoods Office and the Neighborhood Councils are committed to enhance opportunities and quality of life for the residents of Missoula through a variety of programs:
- Energize Your Neighborhood Grant – Provides up to $6,000 for resident-initiated projects that strengthen neighborhoods and benefit the broader Missoula community.
- Adopt a Traffic Circle– Supports traffic safety and neighborhood beautification where volunteers maintain residential traffic circles.
- Neighborhood Clean-Up– Each spring, participating neighborhood councils host a clean-up event. Dumpsters and supplies are provided to help residents collect and dispose of trash and debris in their neighborhood!
- Local Government Academy – A free six-week course designed to help Missoula residents learn about city departments and discover ways to engage in local government.
- Candidate Forums– In partnership with the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Missoula, the Office of Neighborhoods hosts forums during local election years to help residents learn about candidates and issues.
