Become a Missoula Trail Ambassador
In 2022, Missoula Parks & Recreation and the Missoula Ranger District teamed up to support the Missoula Trail Ambassador Program. Trail Ambassadors are volunteer leaders that care about our local trails and public lands. Ambassadors connect with local recreationists by meeting them where they are – on our trails and at our local trailheads.
Trail Ambassadors set up shop at some of our busiest trailheads to connect with fellow trail users, provide information on proper trail etiquette and courtesy, and share recreation resources. This program helps to support a diverse, informed, and welcoming community of trail users throughout the Missoula Valley.
